The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Department of Medical Development has three exciting opportunities for Development Director's, Major Gifts. The Development Director's, Major Gifts will work with the Associate Vice Presidents and Departmental Chairs to develop and implement key fundraising strategies for the School of Medicine relative to his/her specific areas of responsibility and assist with guiding the fundraising program. The Development Director's will identify prospective donors and funding sources, in conjunction with faculty and staff, and development cultivations and solicitation plans, involving the aforementioned groups and volunteers as appropriate. Assist donors, prospects and other select individuals with appointments, scheduling and other necessary facilitation through clinical encounters at UHealth.
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of (3)-three years of demonstrated successful experience in major gift fundraising and fundraising management, preferably in higher education or healthcare. A teamwork oriented approach to colleagues and proven ability to manage people in a positive and constructive environment are essential. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
