Our client is an award winning, non-profit hospital system who has asked us to find a “highly promotable” hospice operations executive. For this high profile career opportunity, we are seeking a business savvy individual with proven leadership experience. They must have excellent communication skills, management and operations expertise. Highly prized are those with expertise in the principles and methods of management andleadership; in regards to interdisciplinary hospice services, budgeting, human resource management and administration. Excellent time management, critical thinking, project management, interpersonal relationship building, public relations and customer service skills are essential to this role.
The Regional Operational Director of Hospice will be responsible for the management of the regional branch office. They will oversee the administrative staff, service line operations managersand ensure excellent clinical service delivery, proper staffing, education, effective customer service and resolution of issues both internal and external. Their focus will be the growth and business development within the designated geographic area. The Director will develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve the operations of the region. They will be a key member ofthe executive leadership team. Our client’s hospice operation is a multi-site organization; all current facilities are within a 37 mile radius. Facilities include: business offices; care centers, grief centers and resale shops. Programs include: medical care, nursing care, personal care, emotional care, and spiritual care. Services are provided in-home, at assisted living facilities, in a nursing home or at patient’s preference.
